TAXI SPEED
Speed with me through taxi streets
A fast mind walking
Talking
The tingle at fingertips is just coffee heat
The scene is beat
Suburban dreams
Cities greet
On our feet and
On our back
still money is the only thing we lack
Long distance love conversations
Can't see my eyes in the bathroom mirror
We walk until our feet
Bleed blister's pus
Then still another mile
The highway's light
Aren't so bright
Like daylight's night
Look over your shoulder
And return to find
Your fears facing you
In front of you
Not following you
Speed with me through taxi streets
We'll scare ourselves
Like we do the passers-by
