MY ROOM YOUR KITCHEN

In my room before me
A transformation I see
Bobbing bedroom walls
Sprout kitchen features
A portable toasteroven
Burning creamcheese bagels
Stovetop clock stuck at
Twelve-twenty three
And frost free freezer meat
Thawing in stainless steel sink

Laying in my bed watching
Flat turn curves
Breakfast bay window
People cough bottles at me
With beer laughing I see

Snoopy strips
Dollar fucking girls
I close these blue eyes and
Turn away
Hold my hand
Hold my balance
Hold my love
And taste the A1 steak sauce stain off the bottle

The left and right side windows
Curtained like there now here
And George "Our father" Washington
Above us papered
Behind glass framed
Table wood legs moving
Upside down floor light
Comes down

My love your kitchen
My head your kitchen
Your table my bed
My bed your kitchen
My room your kitchen
