THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC (A THREE DAY CRUSH)

Flow the traffic of seventy-two hour days
Experiment in egg wash and oil the dreams
A pain for emotional discomfort
lipping words that mean
I love you

Speeding the plow plotting life
Please know the balance
Check for the amount of courage you can carry
Donatello's David bronzed type-like homosexual
model hero who could catch a stream of stars
frolicking games youth play flowering
in a green jar on the dining room table

Where is the night music blue midnight moon
Clouded light leaves budding arms swaying an embrace
The hero home safe and strong bedded with dream clean
after seventy-tow hours of erotic adventures
Into a friend's head and below the
Waste not want not cheers lips tongue
Fireworks projected image resting climax smile
reaching hand touching feelings tingling body
down spine and head-spin whirls of warm joy

Morning's curling cats on sleeping rug
Together naked and smooth like night's traveling
Hand caressing hip palming gummi bare tummy
The child play lusting friend
Rocking chair stories book these memories
Rainy sticky white mornings
Playground girls hiding from boys
in closets tracing cartoon captions filling void
Bourbon and soda glasses
The acceptance the rejection and the insecurities

An angel in tinsel light cries as the hero's fool
bleeds babble ink heart
Anticipating more than ought
Losing sight sitting in a lobby
alone not allowed to enter the party's daze
Flow seventy-two hours
