BOREDOM'S FANTASY PAINTS A PICTURE

Television dribbles
radio's sound waves dull
newsless paper scribbles
another day null

Loneliness parades the cell
so happy with the somber inflicted
A living mass invalid
chains are self-locking
behind doors of restrictions
no flowers can bloom
in an alcoholic's crystal

Are the phone lines down
no bells have rung
Insanity rapes skin to bone

Yellowy clear goop
weighs heavy on brushes
fingers try to break the day's
void vapid obstructions
creating a world where
dreams are more than pleasure
flaming strokes red
blue eyes spotted visions
soft caresses
canvas illusion
wet lips warm smudge
glossy print closing
model's magazine stare
Pound hard the blood that sweats
into the day's tarnished sieve
rub purple-white stained hands dry
acrylic tears paint
the cheer of another day in time
Boredom likes to fake
