Testicular Momentum (1987-1992)
TM began when Andy and Neal Keller one dark and delicious day began to bang on oil drums in the basement of a suburban ranch house. Instant techno-industrial. Over the next decade, the duo recorded numerous tracks, including a live show at the 9:30 Club, nurturing a sound where the Grateful Dead meets Throbbing Gristle with a pinch of the Rollings Stones tossed into the mix just to disturb the holy gatekeepers. Highlights from the era include Testicular Momentum appearing at the Summer of Hate Industrial Festival with Missing Foundation & Jared Hendrickson. TM's last show at the now defunct Bayou Club on the Georgetown waterfront was captured on DVD with Paul Bonomo on guitar. Andy's favorite onstage antics featured getting drunk, sticking the mike up his butt and buying drinks for the entire front row.
